- Is a chemical engineer with 20 years experience in manufacturing and development of plastics and petrochemicals. He spent 16 years at Exxon-Mobil in their chemical and plastics division before undertaking special projects in new business development for several large firms. He has 13 patents and 13 pending patent applications and has developed several innovative products that are in the marketplace today. He has led new product startups from conception to commercialization for several organizations that resulted in hundreds of millions in $sales. He also has several years experience in marketing new plastics products to the packaging industry. His interests are in commercializing new processes and chemicals that result in environmentally sustainable products. He is currently developing new separation and processing techniques for algae biomass to provide new streams of raw materials for nutrition of humans and animals along with new chemicals for plastics and packaging applications.
